International private law

International private law comprises international treaties, European Regulations as well as domestic law. In the event of international matters, international private law deals with the jurisdiction matters (which law applies?) and to what extent a possible court ruling will be acknowledged and implemented. International private law soon comes into play when you do business abroad.
